I'm finding as I get older, that putting on weight becomes easier. So I think doing regular cardio exercise becomes a lot more important. In addition to other health benefits. What do you think?
I also want to do more resistance training (weights), because losing muscle mass also becomes an issue as you age. I think keeping muscles in good shape helps to reduce stress on joints.
And I read this article on the BBC website, which recommends squats and planks. Both good exercises to do
I have been mentioning in my latest chit-chat post of new physical activities I have been doing in addition to what already do:
I feel that July has been my nest month of this year so far after this latest change I have been doing. So I hope my motivation keeps up with knowing how great I feel.
How I feel right now, I have not felt as good as this in a long time. So this I need to remind myself of if I ever have days where I struggle.
I lift dumbbells twice a week at tge moment which is my new physical activity to what do already. This I feel is what has really helped me mentally because of needing to focus when doing them, to make sure I do them correctly and my reasons for doing them. 😊
