It's a wild one here in west Wales, but we're hoping to go to a local triathlon tomorrow (observing not participating 🤣).
What is everyone else doing? Anything nice planned?

This weekend I will be competing in the national brass band finals, held in Cheltenham. My band qualified for the finals by winning the south west regional competition, beating 17 other bands. As regional champions we qualified for the national finals. It's the first time in the band's 150 year history that it has achieved this.
Doesn't matter how we do in the final, it was a great achievement just getting there.
When you are retired every day is like a weekend. The awful weather has kept me indoors today so I have been watching the tennis. Tomorrow I will be taking my wife to the hospital for her regular blood transfusion appointment. She was supposed to go on Thursday but was not feeling well.
I was at a friend's today. Came back before the next predicted thunder.
Tomorrow will be a relaxing day at home. Dvd's with a mixture of other things. 😊
We're at a gig tonight, so pleased with the accessibility access.
Secure seated area with plenty of space, helpful staff, toilets, water facilities (much needed in this heat).
Really impressed, neither of us would be able to do this kind of thing now without these measures. Need more of this in other areas of society!
We had weather similar to that on Tuesday night thru to the early hours of Wednesday morning. Strong winds and absolutely hammered down. Enjoy your journey thru the Vale
Triathlon sounds good. I have ultimate respect for people who do these events, it's not easy training.
We're looking at a potential house this weekend. We're in the process of moving. Just had a nightmare experience with an estate agent, which is a long story and I won't bore you with it. But to cut a long story short, we wasted 4 months with them, and have just switched to another agent who has a much more professional attitude.
Anyway, love viewing houses, let's hope this one is suitable for us.
Hoping for a more relaxed couple of days here. Hectic week with meetings and working on a presentation for the Regional Partnership Board which we'll be presenting next Thursday to the full board. 😬
Nice and sunny here today with a nice cool sea breeze.
Some exciting news is that my RPB colleague and I are going to be working with Social Work lecturers to ensure that their students hear the lived experience of unpaid carers and those we care for.
