I totally get what Andrew has said here about books. I often find myself with several on the go at once. I like that though, as it gives me the option to pick from a small diverse group of reads dependent on my mood.
At the moment, I'm reading..
The Masked Rider.. (Neil Peart)
Stolen Focus (Johann Hari)
50 Dark Destinations (Lynes et al. eds.)
Vagabond: Venice Beach, Slab City and Points in Between (Ceilidh Michelle)
Something Wicked This Way Comes (Ray Bradbury)
Lots of others in huge piles, in various locations around the house with bookmarks inside, waiting to be opened again.
Favourite book is probably 11.22.63 (Stephen King). I've never forgotten it, especially Sadie.
I do, but more often than not I get bored, and don't finish the book. Kind of the same with films. I'm very selective in what I read or watch. I used to read a lot more when I was younger.
I have a liking for sci-fi and fantasy. Must say I really enjoyed reading Game Of Thrones, and literally could not put those books down. They are so well written. It's quite sad that GRR will probably never release the final book(s) in the series. Thought the TV show was well done, but the ending not ideal.
Currently reading Dune by Frank Herbert. One that I've been meaning to read for a long time.
